Masala Puri

Serves 4-6 people

Ingredients

Wheat flour (atta):  1 cup

Haldi:   ¼ tsp

Salt:   ½ tsp

Red chili powder: 1 tsp full

Black pepper powder: 1 ½ tsp (preferably, freshly ground)

Method

Mix all the above with a little water and oil. Form in to smooth round and divide in to ping-pong size balls. Roll flat in to puris and fry in hot oil. Serve hot.

Serve with aamras, chane ka saalan, teekhe alu ka saalan.
