Beef Samosa masala

 

Ingredients

Ground beef (kheema): ¼ kg (~½ lb)

Ginger garlic (adrak lasan) paste: 1 tsp or ½ tsp each

Salt: ½ small tsp

Turmeric (haldi): ¼ small tsp

Green chili paste: 2 tsp or paste of 15 green chillies

Garam masala powder: ¼ tsp

Vinegar: 1 tsp

Sugar: ½ tsp

Spring onion: 4-5, sliced thin

Onion: 1 medium, squeeze out water

Cilantro (kothmir): leaves only, 1 bunch

Mint (phudina): ¼ of cilantro (optional)

Red chili powder (optional) per taste

Directions

Boil all ingredients, except onions.  Dry completely. When cooled, add both types of onions and cialntro and mint, if using.  Check for taste and adjust. Use same masala for samosa, patties (4 med potatoes, 8 patties).  You can add red chili powder, if using, at this point). Add egg and salt to make kheemewali roti or pao.
